OMEX Consumable Packs

The Council has a statutory duty under the Concessionary Bus Travel Act 2007 to participate in the English National Travel Concession Scheme and to issue eligible residents who live within the East Riding of Yorkshire with an English National Concessionary Travel Pass (ENCTS) to facilitate travel throughout England on all local bus services. To fulfil this requirement the Council administers the application process and produces the ENCTS passes in-house within the Transportation Services team. This process was adopted by the Council when ENCTS passes were introduced in 2008 and continues to work successfully. To encode and print the ENCTS passes the Council uses bespoke printers supplied by ESP Systex Ltd based in Hull. The printers require consumable media packs made up of film and ink. These media packs are bespoke to our printers and consequently cannot be purchased through any other supplier.
