Gosport Millennium Bridge – Drive Train Capital Repairs – 2016/2017

Gosport Borough Council have engaged consultants to work up a scheme of mechanical replacement and minor upgrade to return the bridge to fully functional operation. This involves working at height and over water. The work necessitates support of the counterbalance weight and removal of the lifting chains; replacement of motor, gear box and lifting chain sprockets.
