Work description

Derbyshire Dales District Council, is the local planning authority for that part of its area that sits outside of the Peak District National Park. In December 2017 the Derbyshire Dales Local Plan was adopted and it sets out the policies and proposals for the period 2013-2033. Regulation 10A of The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 (as amended) required local planning authorities to review local plans, and Statements of Community Involvement at least once every 5 years from their adoption date to ensure that policies remain relevant and effectively address the needs of the local community. As part of the review process the District Council would like to commission appropriately qualified and experienced consultants to undertake: • an assessment of the current situation with regards to infrastructure provision across the plan area; • an assessment of the need for new infrastructure provision to meet future development needs across the plan area; and • to undertake a whole plan viability assessment and provide
