(NU/1227) Campus Wide, DDA Access Audits

The University is obliged to comply with the Equality Act 2010. The University has identified the need to carry out a partial audit of the estate to ensure that the Building stock complies with the Act or areas of investment to achieve compliance are highlighted.

At the conclusion of the project Estate Support Service will have been provided with data in an agreed format following an access Audit of nominated properties and areas of grounds, complete with costs to meet the requirements of the legislation.

It will be the responsibility of the successful supplier to ensure that all relevant current legislation is considered and reviewed.

The successful supplier will be required to undertake Audits of the nominated properties and areas.
