Supported Internship - Berkshire

Description

We are seeking partners to support in the delivery of supported internship and employability programmes to move a small number (circa. 35) Reading College and Bracknell & Wokingham college learners with EHCPs into sustainable employment in Berkshire. This provision will focus on developing young people's employment skills through intensive job coaching in the workplace and sourcing placement opportunities with employers. The provision will be co-delivered with the Colleges who will undertake employability preparedness classroom provision for one day a week, with the successful partner co-ordinating, monitoring and supporting workplace development for four days a week. The successful partner will need to work with us within the limitations of the 16-19 funding lagged funding formula whereby successful delivery in 24/25 will lead to lagged funding being received by all parties in 25/26.
