## Description

This Prior Information Notice \(PIN\) relates to future market engagement that Nuclear Waste Services \(NWS\) intend to perform concerning the development of a supply-chain-based niche geoscience laboratory services capability\. Such services will be required by NWS as part of its site characterisation programme of potential sites being considered as hosts for a geological disposal facility \(GDF\) and to make assessments of the future evolution of the geosphere during a post-closure safety assessment period\.
