Description
As part of the Phase 2 works of the Campus Development plan the Library has been identified as one option for a strip back to frame refurbishment. Supplier will be appointed to carry out a RIBA stage 0-1 study on the library strip back to frame, refurbishment and extension feasibility. This supplier has specialist experience in developing briefs, feasibility studies and designing higher education sector library and learning resource centres. This is also complemented by their experience in the conversion, refurbishment and extension of listed buildings. We do not have this combined specialism on the current framework and therefore wish to use the supplier to develop the initial options appraisals for the Library refurbishment. The contract value includes management of M&E and QS resources.
