Work description
Winchester City Council invited tenders for the design, supply and installation of a children's play area at King George V Play Area, Winchester.
The council sought a contractor to create a new, inclusive children's play area which will provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to play and learn. The opportunity is fully aligned to the commitment set out in the Council Plan to 'Living Well' and offer the right facilities to support good physical and mental health for all ages and abilities. The new play area will replace the existing one (which will be removed as part of the contract) and meet all current regulations and best practice. The successful Tenderer is mindful of the Council's commitment to reducing carbon dioxide emissions in terms of refurbishing equipment, recycling and minimising disposal.
