DR5116 Cleaning and Associated Services

Description

Contract Award of Cleaning and Associated Services Contract is for cleaning of about 85 buildings which include the Town Hall, Community, Children and Nursery Centres, Libraries, Idea Stores, offices, park buildings, depots and public toilets including buildings occupied by Tower Hamlets Homes, an ALMO of LBTH. The services include Routine, Reactive Service (Emergency Response, Graffiti Removal, Bio Hazard - Body Spills) Periodic and Specialist, Stone and Marble Cleaning, Carpet Cleaning, Internal and External Windows, Feminine Hygiene, Air Fresheners, Clinical Waste and disposal and associated Cleaning Services. Consumables are to be included. During the period of the Contract the number of buildings may be added or reduced. The contract may involve TUPE of approximately 130 employees. Estimated value of this contract is 9 000 000 GBP to 12 000 000 GBP. The Contract period is for 5 years with an option to extend for a further period of 1 year at the sole discretion of the Contracting Authority.
