## Description

The Future Data Science \(FDS\) project seeks to generalize Data Science by creating and demonstrating the underpinning science through which the machine will be able to re-use its models with a confidence of validity, and generalize \(broaden\) Data Science and AI to answer counterfactuals\. The FDS project runs for 3 years , with work in each year themed under the broad titles of discovery, delivery and evaluation\. The primary goal in this first year is therefore to develop a deep understanding of the following topics, \(1\) Human Computer Interaction \(HCI\), \(2\) Linked Data, \(3\) Argumentation, \(4\) Causality and \(5\) Uncertainty\.
