## Description

The rotors are required for a Sorvall ultracentrifuge\. Only ultracentrifuge rotors that are compatible with a Sorvall machine can be used\. Therefore Sorvall rotors must be procured\. Sorvall is a ThermoFisher brand and the only source for these rotors is Fisher Scientific\. They supply direct to customers, or via a third party: two third party suppliers have been identified - VWR and DJB Labcare\. The cost associated with buying the Sorvall rotors from VWR and DJB is substantially higher than the cost of buying direct from Fisher\.
