Supported Housing for Adults with Disabilities

Swindon Borough Council is seeking to commission supported housing for up to thirty seven people, at any one time, in the locality of Swindon. Supported housing is defined as self-contained accommodation with low level support delivered on site. Supported Housing for disability is utilised for people with a learning disability and people with autistic needs.

This opportunity is to supply up to 37 units of self-contained accommodation units, with onsite support, within the Borough of Swindon. This may be provided in more than one building but the following criteria must apply: • Must provide one communal front door, communal laundry, communal garden and office space. • Must provide members of staff relevant to the amount of units offer to provide both housing management and housing related support. • Must be available by the 1st April 2024 • Housing of Multiple Occupancy (HMO's) cannot apply

Term The initial contract term will be for 36 months with an option to extend for a further 12 months for a potential total contract term of 4 years as stated in the ITT documents. Estimated contract spend is £323,400 across the initial 3 year contract term and £435900 across the potential total 4 year contract term.
