CLINICAL GENETIC SEQUENCING & REPORTING

Cambridge University Hospital (CUH) requires a large number of clinical samples, to be sequenced and reported (minimum 4,500, estimated total 5,000). All samples have been referred to CUH from clinicians requesting clinical genetic testing for a wide range of different inherited diseases. Approximately 20% of samples are estimated to have pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants that require full clinical interpretation and reporting
