"The Microsoft technology landscape has changed significantly over the last few years. The LCC Microsoft estate is following a cloud-based roadmap. The Microsoft unified support route would also be a single route for all support required for Microsoft products. In the past there would have been multiple contracts for the various Microsoft technologies resulting in a higher cost than the Microsoft unified support offering and complexities around where issues may lie when problems occur.\r \r Procuring via G-cloud has now been considered appropriate as more LCC Microsoft services are within the Microsoft cloud."
