OF576 Revised Applied General

The objectives of the research are to: 1. Improve our understanding of key issues and concerns of those who use Applied General qualifications. 2. Identify in what ways Applied General qualifications are, and are not, 'fit for purpose' in preparing learners to progress to Higher Education 3. Identify key features of Applied General qualifications that are particularly valued by users. 4. Identify any specific areas where stakeholders believe that improvements could be made to the standards of current Applied General qualifications. We will use this to inform regulation of current Applied General qualifications, as well as shaping the advice we provide to government with regards to these qualifications.
