THH - Mount Vernon Hospital Medical Block Refurbishment Works

Description

The Trust seeks to appoint a contractor for the works associated with the delivery of Refurbishment of the Medical Block at Mount Vernon Hospital. This project forms part of the overall Decant Strategy for the New Hillingdon Hospital. The proposed brief is to provide a decant space for the low acuity neuro rehabilitation inpatient services from Alderbourne and Beaconsfield Ward at Hillingdon Hospital, and to supplement the inpatient bed capacity at the Hillingdon Site. The requirements for the project include modifications to the existing wards, side rooms and ancillary areas on the 1st floor Edmund Ward to improve the staff and patient environment and meet operational requirements. It also includes the provision of a gym on the ground floor, that will require some remodelling of the ground floor outpatients' areas. Edmund's Ward on the first floor is unoccupied, while ground floor is occupied by Daniels Ward.
