Description
Lewisham EP Service has developed a short-term and a longer term recruitment and retension strategy to increase permanent staff, sustain the establishment of EPs, and so reduce the reliance on agency (locum) EPs. In academic year 2023-24 the EP Service was carrying 6FTE vacancies and 1.5FTE maternity leave. A recruitment drive in early autumn 2023 has secured 3.5FTE new staff for September 2024. Summer recruitment secured another 1FTE for September 2025. An autumn 2024 campaign intends to secure 2FTE for September 2025.
