KMCAS-097 YOUNG CARERS & YOUNG ADULT CARERS SUPPORT SERVICE

This Contract sets out the requirements for providing a Young Carers and Young Adult Carers Support Service in Kirklees that will form part of the contract with Kirklees Council (the Council) and will work collaboratively with the service providing information, advice and advocacy for Adult Carers living in Kirklees. A Young Carers Service for Kirklees has been delivered since 2006 providing support approaches for Young Carers and their families. This service has provided direct support to over 90 young carers a year with over 4,000 contact hours of intervention approaches.
