Work description

This project is a refurbishment for at Throne Fire Station in Doncaster.

The building is a purpose built Fire Station and comprises of traditional block built fabric and is split over 2 operational floors.

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue aim to appoint a multi-disciplinary contractor, who offers general building and M&E services, or the ability to sub-contract and manage the required services.

The work will include; installing partition walls, plumbing, installing fully certified fire doors, minor electrical work, general decorating and flooring.

Project Objectives

• Improve the flow and aesthetics of Thorne Fire Station to maximise wellbeing for colleagues based at the station, and for those working agile • Limit disruption to emergency response through excellent communication with the Estate's team and crew on site • Deliver a high quality renovation through skilled trades
