Work description
Natural England are seeking to develop their understanding of how evidence on risks to ecosystems and benefits from nature (as detailed in the forthcoming State of Natural Capital report) fits, or could be fitted, into the national risk space (government and non-government). We also want to investigate how natural capital risk can be best presented for application in strategic risk management frameworks, for those who use risk evidence in their decision-making. This contract will involve desk-based research, knowledge exchange activities and stakeholder engagement, case studies, a synthesis report, and the development of a set of recommendations for Natural England on making natural capital risk evidence effective and useable in strategic risk management at different scales.
