DFID 7219 Monitoring and Evaluation of Global Mine Action

The objective of the monitoring part of the contract will be to ensure that GMAP projects are continually reviewed in order to achieve the results set out in the business case.

The objectives of the evaluation will be to improve future mine action programmes, and enhance (global) learning including by: tracking implementation of the Theory of Change, and identifying the appropriateness of the assumptions which underpin it; providing an overall assessment of the extent to which GMAP has provided an efficient and effective approach in support of the UK’s 2013 Mine Action Strategy https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/260365/mine-action-policy.pdf ; and informing the next UK mine action strategy.
