Description
A call-off from the Generation 4-ONE 2020 - 2024 Civil Engineering, Highways and Transportation Collaborative Framework (Awarded April 2020). Construction of a safer, informal crossing point for pedestrians on the B2148 Whichers Gate Road at the Bridleway 24 entrance, near its junction with Prospect Lane. This will involve relaying of 40m of kerbs, construction of a new asphalt concrete footway crossing and installation of 4m2 tactile paving, new 30m2 section of footway, resurfacing of 31m2 of footway and 53m2 of carriageway repair works on Prospect Lane junction. The works will be complemented with two new warning signs, two reflective bollards and associated carriageway markings.
