Work description
Bushfield Sports Centre provides a wealth of sports facilities for the local community. The main hall, which hosts training for the Great Britain roller hockey team, requires the refurbishment of its flooring and seating in order to provide a modern and functional environment and futureproof the facilities on site. The building is owned by Peterborough City Council and managed by Vivacity. The hall is also used by the Ormiston Bushfield Academy Secondary School to fulfil their sports provision, therefore works must be completed within the identified programme to align with the school holiday period. The remaining facilities will remain open to the local community, therefore, the successful contractor will need to manage an active site and minimise disruption to the centre.
The works included in this tender is to replace the flooring in the Sports Hall and to provide and install raised seating.
