Work description
Construction of a New Bus Maintenance Depot and Ancillary Bus Parking Areas The facility will be a new purpose built bus maintenance depot initially supporting the existing diesel powered bus fleet of Warrington's Own Buses and will incorporate infrastructure to accommodate an all-electric fleet of buses in the future. Warrington's Own Buses will migrate to the new depot upon completion. The facility will comprise of a three storey building combining a maintenance workshop complete with specialist maintenance equipment, ancillary offices and staff/driver welfare facilities, MOT centre and storage, a single storey service building for fuelling and washing buses and external areas comprising extensive bus open storage and general service yard, staff car parking, re-configuration and widening of vehicular accesses; fencing (including acoustic fencing), lighting, a new substation building and all associated and ancillary works.
