Senior Programme Manager

Working within the Profession and Assurance team, this role will act as an advisor and guide to projects and programmes across Defra on professional delivery. The post holder will be responsible for delivering a range of services that include (but are not limited to): - professional advice and guidance on project delivery in line with government standards and practice; - establishing programme and project plans; - advising, supporting and critiquing business case production for cases valued over £10m; - establishing management information (MI) or dashboard reports; - provide guidance and support on project controls across the department; - establish a standard set of tools and templates in line with programme governance needs; and, - drive the adoption and awareness of professional standards across the department.
