Vehicle Restraint System Repair and Maintenance

The Authority wishes to award a contract for the inspection, maintenance and repair of existing and new Vehicle Restraint Systems and the design and installation of new Vehicle Restraint Systems throughout the county (the Contract). The geographical scope of this Contract covers the entire area of North Yorkshire, and covers all VRS installations throughout the county. The Contract will run between 1st August 2016 and 1st August 2021 for an initial 5 year term with the option to extend the Contract Period for a further period of 3 years to end on 1 August 2024, followed by a further period of 2 years to end on 1st August 2026. Therefore the total possible Contract duration is 10 years (5+3+2).
