## Description

The currently closed Haslar IRC was identified as a site to be re-opened following a review of sites across the country to support the government's priorities to increase capacity\. Upon review, the overall quality of the building was not fit-for-purpose\. Significant works were identified as being necessary for the foundations, structure and fabric pf the existing building\.
