Description

Swanage Town Council wishes to invite tenders from insurance providers with experience of town and parish council operations. It requires comprehensive cover for its properties and activities for a three year period commencing 1 April 2026, with an option to extend. The council does not currently have cyber insurance, but quotes should include this category. The council will be undertaking a multi-million pound capital project within the term of this period of cover. The tender should state if additional project cover would be required, or whether project insurance would be included within the insurance schedule as tendered. The council also acts as the corporate trustee for several charitable trusts, with land and asset ownership. Tender submissions should state if the trust assets will be covered under the council's policy. Please note that the council will require insurance cover for flood.
