## Description

The digital platform is a critical communication channel for the council and is a core part of our communications strategy\. It is used to send all our internal communications \(weekly ICbulletin, Chief Executive's blog, departmental newsletters\) and external communications to targeted groups of residents and stakeholders\. Having a platform allows the council \(comms and trained bulletin reps from services\) to get high volumes of targeted messages to a large number of internal and external audiences very quickly, which is especially useful in emergency situations\.
