## Description

The South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority is collaborating with New Localism Associates to develop an Investment Playbook\. This diagnostic tool, created by New Localism Associates, is being used by several US cities to align their growth strategies with disruptive market dynamics and identify concrete projects that maximise public, private, and civic investments\. For example, New Localism Associates' engagement with Greater St\. Louis, Inc\. led to the creation of the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre \(AMIC\), inspired by Sheffield's model\. AMIC's success in winning the 2021 Build Back\. Better Regional Challenge exemplifies the importance of crafting economic strategies and identifying concrete projects aligned with the shifting global economy\.
