Installation of dry acid system, day tank, electric agitator, water connections for tank fill, commission and training,
The chemical storerooms are in very poor condition and requires attention in order to protect the fabric of the building. Due to the corrosive chemicals currently utilised this has caused substantial corrosion affecting the walls, floors, doors and ventilation. It is recommended that this work is carried out at the same time as the chemical changeover. Another element of this project relates to business continuity. The service stores another chemical for these purposes which are delivered in 25kg barrels. These are stored downstairs and currently the only option is to carry them down which is a Health & Safety risk to staff. We will install a mechanical lifting system to reduce the H&S risks moving forwards.
