North Essex Heritage - Jumbo Water Tower - Quantity Surveyor Procurement - AWARD

This procurement is for the commissioning of a Quantity Surveyor for the Development and Delivery Phase of the proposed Jumbo Water Tower Project in Colchester.

Colchester and North East Essex Building Preservation Trust (North Essex Heritage) is planning a careful conservation to the current architectural elements whilst helping to provide both a commercial and public use for the presently unutilised water tower. This will help to turn this historical landmark into a new cultural destination.

The project has been successful in securing Development funding from the Towns Deal and NLHF Heritage Enterprise scheme. This funding is to be used to prove the viability of the project, and provide confidence in the ability of the Trust and partners to deliver this project. Accurate Cost Planning will be critical in demonstrating this.
