## Description

The high-level objectives of the experimental programme are to: 1\. test the effects that partial saturation may have on the evolution of the LLWR near field and contaminant release processes, providing a data set to validate ESC models; 2\. characterise the physical and chemical nature of the partially-saturated vault wastes and measure the effect of varying water levels in the disposal vaults on waste and degradation processes\.
