Attendance Monitoring for Virtual School

Description

In accordance with Promoting the education of looked-after and previously looked-after children (Feb 2018) and, more recently, Working Together to Improve School Attendance (May 2022), Hampshire and IOW Virtual schools require a secure, cloud hosted, Information Management System that will enable the services to regularly monitor the attendance and attainment of Looked after Children, in and out of county, in order to improve educational outcomes. The system will enable the LA's to meet the responsibilities detailed in the guidance to improve the attendance and attainment of this vulnerable cohort through targeted and data informed strategies and approaches.
