*Contract Award Notice* Swindon Borough Council invited expressions of interest from managing consultants to lead a whole house retrofit project to 106 homes within the Stratton and Highworth areas of Swindon via the CCS Framewor - RM6165.

Project Description

Swindon Borough Council (SBC), submited to tender the requirements for the provision of a Managing Consultant to lead a whole house retrofit project. Swindon Borough Council have secured a Warm Homes Social Housing Fund Wave 3 grant to improve the energy efficiency of 106 properties within the Council's housing stock within the Stratton and Highworth areas of Swindon.

Swindon Borough Council were looking to appoint a managing consultant to complete the detailed design and lead the project through RIBA stages from Stage 2 to Stage 7. The appointed consultant will take on the roles of Principal Designer, Retrofit Advisor, Retrofit Assessor, Retrofit Coordinator, Retrofit Designer and Retrofit Evaluator, and will ensure all works undertaken are PAS2035 compliant.

The contract will be for a period of 3 years with no extension periods and is estimated to commence 1st October 2025. .

The initial contract term will be for 3 years with no options to extend further. For a total contract term of 3 years as stated in the ITT documents.

Estimated contract spend is between £880,000 - £900,000 across the initial 3 year term.
