Work description

Kier Transportation are looking to engage experienced and qualified contractors to provide water monitoring and sampling requirements on 10 designated points as specified on the M6 Lune Gorge project.

Frequency: Monthly - requirement for company awarded tender to attend site monthly to collect samples.

Monitoring requirements: The following parameters shall be laboratory tested for monthly - pH - electrical conductivity - total suspended solids - dissolved oxygen - turbidity - redox potential - bicarbonate alkalinity - total and dissolved organic carbon - metal suite (dissolved and totals): aluminium, arsenic, cadmium, copper, lead, zinc - major ions: calcium, chloride, sulphate, potassium, sodium - nitrate - phosphate - Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TPH) (speciated, aliphatic and aromatic split) - Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (16 PAHs)
