The Authority has ambitious plans for the future. This includes the development of Golden Valley and the National Cyber Innovation Centre; a UK-wide nationally important strategic development, designed to build on existing cyber and digital industries located within the town, including the world-renowned GCHQ, and make Cheltenham the Cyber Capital of the UK (see https://www.goldenvalleyuk.com/). To support these plans, the Authority wishes to develop a long-term strategy and delivery plan to maximise environmental outcomes for the area that will help offset the impacts of property development across the region and enhance the natural landscape.
