The Supply of Bituminous Coated Materials, Asphalt Concrete, HRA and SMA Materials

CORSERV is wholly owned by Cornwall Council and has been established to provide strategic direction for the existing commercial trading companies that make up the Cornwall Council group - CORMAC, Cornwall Airport, Cornwall Housing, the Nottinghamshire joint venture company - Via East Midlands, and Cornwall Development Company. CORSERV on behalf of Via East Midlands Ltd is seeking to let a framework agreement for the supply, delivery and collection of bituminous coated materials, including asphalt concrete, HRA and SMA materials.

The initial contract will be for 12 months commencing 3rd April 2017 with optional annual extensions for a further three years.

Via East Midlands is delivering highways maintenance services in the Bassetlaw, Newark & Sherwood, Gedling and Rushcliffe, Ashfield, Broxtowe and Mansfield areas. The supply of materials to Via East Midlands forms one of a number of supply chain options for the maintenance and development of the highways network within the county of Nottinghamshire.

The tender will be conducted using the EU Open Procedure and will be awarded on lowest overall price to the suppliers which successfully pass the selection criteria.
