Purchasing of Electric Vehicles

Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (TWBC) is looking to partner with a local supplier to purchase (not lease) up to two electric vehicles to replace their 3 current petrol/diesel vehicles. We say partner, as we would welcome vehicle signage that would state that the partner was working in collaboration with the Council to promote a Greener Borough using electric vehicles.

The Council would consider offers for part exchange or scrappage for their current vehicles and this will be included in the scoring assessment. Appendices C and D detail these vehicles.

The current vehicles comprise a Peugeot Partner 1.4L Van, Peugeot 107 1L (CCTV vehicle with a hole in the roof) and a Vauxhall Corsa EcoFlex 1.3L.

Tender release: Friday 19th August 2022 Expression of Interest Deadline: 12:00pm Friday 9th September 2022 Deadline for submission of completed tenders: 12:00pm Friday 16th September 2022 Evaluation: w/c Monday 19th September 2022 Appointment of contractor: w/c 3rd October 2022
