Active Travel Officers in Schools (STAF funded programme)

Description

DMBC currently manage the Sustainable Transport Access funding (STAF) provided by the Department for Transport (DfT) across the 4 Sheffield City Region areas of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield. The external funding provided by the Department for Transport that facilitates this contract has been unexpectedly extended for an additional year. Due to a number of associated factors and potential impact, a strategic decision has been made to extend the current provider's contract via this waiver.
