GB-HARWICH: T0493 - THV GALATEA Trim and Stability Book Review and Update

Review and update the Trim and Stability documentation of vessel THV GALATEA. The works are required to demonstrate the ability of the vessel to operate with a closed ballast system. Renewed documentation is to be provided to Trinity House in both electronic and hard copy formats for onward approval by Class (Lloyds Register) and Flag State (Maritime Coastguard Agency). Existing Stability Information is approved to IMO A749(18) For Intact stability and A 469 (XII) (two compartment) for damage stability.

Works required are as follows: 1.Review and update the Trim and Stability Documentation 2.Gain approval by Class (LR) and Flag State (MCA). 3.Optional: Light weight determination, inclining test and with the results implemented in the trim & stability documentation.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
