BHCC SD Direct Payment Advice and Guidance Services

Self-directed support, also called 'personalisation', is about people being in control of the support they need to live the life they choose. The Council wishes to contract for a Directed Payment Support service covering adults, young people and children. A critical part of the service is supporting people to plan and manage their own support using Direct Payments - funding from the council made to people with assessed needs to buy services or employ people to support them.
