Bradford Interchange Carriageway

The contract comprises re-surfacing (waterproofing and vehicle running surface) of the carriageway within Bradford Interchange including the taxi pick-up and drop-off areas and undertaking repairs to the suspended concrete deck.

The works comprise the removal of the existing surfacing materials, the removal of the entire waterproofing membrane, the survey and repair of the existing concrete slab, the installation of a new waterproof membrane, nominal repair of the drainage systems above and below the concrete deck, laying of new carriageway and surfacing materials and re-laying of new carriageway markings, along with alteration works to relevant street signage, barriers and bollards (including brush and pedestrian barriers) contained within site boundaries.
