Work description

The Council is seeking submissions from suitably skilled and experienced a behavioural insights provider to work in partnership with Hartlepool Borough Council commissioners/Public Health team, substance misuse service provider/s, wider health partners and service users to: Better understand the complex health needs of people associated with drug/alcohol misuse and how best to meet this need. This will include:

• understanding factors affecting an individual service users health and wellbeing; • including barriers and facilitators/interventions to meeting these needs • and recommendation to inform service delivery

This will include a combination of literature reviews, behavioural insights survey and qualitative interviews with service users and partners within the substance misuse and wider health and adult social care partners including primary and secondary care providers.
