Work description
The contract is for design and build of works to existing coastal defences in Sidmouth, Devon including: repairs to the concrete seawall and slipway at Jacob's Ladder; construction of a reinforced concrete capping wall on the seawall at Jacob's Ladder; a provisional item for the manufacture and installation of railings for the beach access steps at Jacob's Ladder; the underpinning of a small section of the Millennium Walkway; and construction of a new set of beach access steps near to the Alma Bridge.
The works are being procured under the Environment Agency's Flood and Coastal Risk Management (FCRM) Operational Framework and submissions will be evaluated as per document C10/1013/5 Tender Evaluation Criteria.
