SMALL SITES CAPACITY STUDY AND SMALL SITES DESIGN CODE

The Authority, is conducting this procurement using the open procedure for the purpose of appointing a contractor to:  Small sites capacity study, which is to undertake an assessment of the borough to determine what sites could be available to facilitate a small site development in line with the criteria within the draft new London Plan (2017). This will assist the Council in having an understanding of the potential numbers and capacity of small site type developments that could come forward to assist in meeting the housing targets.  Small sites Design Code (SPD), which would be to build on the capacity study and develop design codes based on small site development typologies. This would assist developers/applicants (including the Council) to submit successful planning applications which should translate to increased housing delivery.
