Work description
This work relates to Cambridge City Council's duties under Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) and, in particular, an applicant's right to request a review under s.202 of the Act.
Under s.202(1) of the Act, an applicant has the right to request a review of number of the housing authority's decisions, as specified by the Act.
Cambridge City Council wishes to contract out the review function to an external body, with the exception of reviews concerning suitability of accommodation, which will remain the responsibility of the local authority.
