Provision of the Green Deal Oversight and Registration Body

BEIS wants to gauge market interest to bid for a 1-year contract to administer the Green Deal Oversight and Registration Body (GD ORB) from 1 July 2019. Due to changes in the energy efficiency industry we will keep under review its continued need, with an option to extend by up to 1 year. The GD ORB is BEIS' GD delivery arm. It: -Acts as Secretary to the GD Arrangements Agreement Panel -Authorises/withdraws GD Providers and Certification Bodies (CB), issuing the GD Quality Mark licence -Maintains/publishes the GD Participants and CB Registers (Registers) -Provides information on the GD, via website, email helpdesk and industry engagement -Reports Register data and on-going administration to BEIS -Monitors compliance and address breaches identified -Undertake changes to the service
