## Description

Bedford Borough Council owns and operates a leachate treatment plant at its closed landfill site located at Elstow, Bedford, MK42 9YU\. The plant is a biological sequencing batch reactor \(SBR\) with a treatment capacity of 50m3 a day\. In order to optimise the leachate treatment process, the plant requires regular caustic solution dosing\. The council is therefore approaching the market place to secure a price only contract for an initial term of 2 years but with the potential to extend for a further 1\+1 years' extensions\.
