## Description

The L&D is to train existing and newly recruited DWP Silver Commanders for Crisis Response\. Silver Commanders have a vital role in managing and coordinating DWP\`s strategic response to serious disruptive incidents or crisis situations\. The bespoke DWP Crisis Response for Silver Commanders Training Course delivered by the Emergency Planning College \(Cabinet Office owned\) will further strengthen our crisis leadership capability to better protect DWP from significant threats and risks that could impact the Department\.
